"When was the last time you fell in love?"

"2 days ago...with my new Kate Spade handbag."

"It's so hard to read you."

"Maybe because you don't read."

And then, I remembered something from Sex and the City that Carrie said and I've posted it somewhere before because it is one of my favourite quotes because..

"Later that day I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find someone to love the YOU you love, well, that's just fabulous."

-Carrie, Sex & the City

it is true.

RIMG0705 copy

It's been a while since I wrote anything as it has been a really busy October for me. But, it's slowing down a bit now with 2 projects down and only 1 exam to go :)

Lately, things have been overwhelming for me (you have no idea!), that's why the saying - "Be careful of what you wish for."

I just can't wait to get away.

Heading off to Frankfurt then New York for the week, I've been looking forward to this one..Hello New York :)

For everything I don't know, I would either GOOGLE, YOU TUBE or at most, reach out for the nearest ENCYCLOPEDIA/MANUAL. I'm so good at it that close friends call me Miss Google.

But there are things in life that neither of the above can help. There isn't any manuals to show you instructions on how to run your life.

Wouldn't it be great if there's a book on"human to human relationships for dummies"?

Sigh.

I could have begin with unpacking my bags and maybe taking a long hot shower followed by a good sleep.

But instead, here I am laying on my bed with my 12 hours long messy hairdo and makeup, stoning away with Carla Bruni's Quelqu'un M'a Dit playing in the background. I love Carla Bruni, I think she's cool.

It was one long 12 hours flight from London and the tremendous amount of energy we gave always leaves me dead at the end of the day.

"I can still never grasp the idea how everything fast forward while you were away and then, when you come back it feels like everything else is moving except you and then you get all lost so, half the time you are trying to catch up."

That was my answer to a stranger who asked me how does it feels to travel all the time? I guessed all he probably wanted to hear was " Great! I love travelling!"

But, this warped mind of mine sometimes causes me to ramble incessantly.

I received this in the email this morning, a different version of birthday song and I absolutely love it. Corrine May is a wonderful singer.

Another year has passed, how time flies.

RIMG0615

Different from last year's hard partying ways, this year it's all cool and nothing wild, lol. Nevertheless, I had a very good birthday weekend. Thanks Zad, Crisp, Jules, Cams, Arjuna, Kaimen, Chin for the wonderful evening.

And of course, to my wise one for the countless Happy Birthday wishes since 2 days before the real official day.

Aside from the surprises, there were the tons of birthday wishes for me, I hope all of it come true. If not all, at least that ONE particular wish that I never fail to ask every year. *clasps hands and prays*

Heading off to London for the week first thing tomorrow morning. Looking forward to the English weather, lol.
